DC vs PBKS and RR vs SRH

April 25, 2026, will go down as one of the most historic days in the 19-year-long history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). It was a double header day in the 19th edition of the IPL. The first match, which was the 35th fixture of IPL 2026 was played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS).

While Delhi Capitals threw everything in their caliber to Punjab Kings, it wasn’t enough. Punjab Kings made a mockery of Delhi Capitals’ target of 265. The Shreyas Iyer-led side reached the threshold with six wickets and as many as seven balls to spare.

The second match of the day saw yet another run-fest as Royals hosted Sunrisers at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Royals scored 228 batting first, and Sunrisers, who were bolstered by the return of their designated captain, Pat Cummins, chased it down with nine balls and five wickets to spare.
